While writing this blog, I watching the repeat match between Liverpool and Chelsea on ESPN. I think Frank Lampard deserved the Red Card after the referee Mike Riley dismissed him following his challenge on Xabi Alonso during the Blues 2-0 defeat at Anfield. Lampard looked shocked to get his marching orders and Chelsea had appeal againts the decision.
For me sending off Lampard was justified. He made a very hard tackle in the centre of the field and could hurst Xabi Alonso. Luckily Alonso jumped or it vcould be worst.
