Know Your Right ... When Dealing With Police

I met a guy name Sean in Ampang few days ago through one of my girl friend. Well we went "drinking" with few other friends.

Sean is a very nice guy. Although he never finish his education (the highest level of ed he ever been was in form 1), but he talk like a lawyer. Believe me.

Well, when you do something "against the law", off course you will feel bit scare. Especially for a guy like me, which my friends always labeled me as "budak kampung" (country boy).

Through out our meeting, Sean never stop talking and laughing. He told me, to know my rights when dealing with police / authorities. According to him , lots of his friends had been bullied by police for a minor mistake. If you get caught by two police doing "something" in the car, the only thing that the police can ask you to do is, to Stop and Go Back. The police has no rights or what so ever to bring you to the court and charge you under Sharia law if you are a Muslims. According to Sharia law, they should posses 4 witnesses, only that you will be charged. And if you are non-Muslims, just show to them (the police) your "so-what-face" and it will shut them off. And most important thing , do not show your "kesian - please forgive me face". If you do, please make sure you have thick wallet.

Same thing, if you get caught driving naked in KL at 3 am, just tell the police, "please let me go back to put some cloth on". Serious. The police has no right what so ever to issue you any summon for the thing you had commit. Remember, you are in your car, and hey, it is 3 am, all people are sleeping , only police bothering some people private business. There is no provision in our law that you are subject to be sue because of driving naked. But off course, I am not encouraging you to do that. But just in case you wanna do it, and you get caught, please do as what I said.
