Streamyx Really Sucks! Macam Gampang!

If it is not because of killing people is wrong, long time I had been thinking of bombing the Telekom Malaysia Tower.

It has been a week the streamyx service was super damn slow. I cannot do almost every things via Internet. I Hate this! When we apply the service and sign the contract with Telekom Malaysia, it was stated that the sole Internets service provider would provide us a better service via 100 Mbps fast Internets broadband. But tell me, in a day, how long that we really get that 100 Mbps?.. not even a seconds! On average is only between 50 to 60 Mbps.

But we all Malaysian never complain about this. Our brain keep saying, it is better than nothing. Sigh. Why can't we fight for our right? Boycott Telekom Malaysia. Why can't we get what we are paying? Why can't we have the mentality like those from developed nation. They all speak up. They fight for their right. Sigh....

It was not the first time it happened. In December 2008, TM streamyx connection was slow due to the disruption of their Internet services caused by circuit fault on the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe.

On January 06, 2009, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) announced to her customers that the restoration works on the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe, has been fully completed.

However, come February 2009, TM Streamyx connection still sucks and frequently disconnected. Apparently their technology infrastructure still sucks.

I called TmNet more than 10 times today and I only get their respond twice. Among all, I did complained about the slower data transfer while surfing the net. The first time I called, their excuse was , they were having an issues of the sea bed cable to Hong Kong and US. Hence that was why we can't access many websites. The second time I called, their excuse was , doing regular maintenance. What de...!@@$@##!$....

I was really fed up. After tonnes of curses to their customer services, I told them that they were lucky. Really really lucky. Because they are the biggest ISP in Malaysia. And as one of those with full support from the government, we we left with no choice. Wait.. Just wait when opposition took over the administration. When the time come, they wont be any monopolisation for any services by only one company. Then they will see how high is the sky. huh.. Damn Suck! Macam gampang!
