Lately I have been addicted to the brand new wars. Mafia wars have been introduced by Zynga not long time ago as one of game in Facebook, MySpace , tagged and Yahoo. Actually Mafia Wars are not new, only that , I dint really care about it existence on my facebook account until I open up a new account on tagged.

Mafia wars is set in New York City and Little Italy with an option for the players to travels between Cuba and new York once they reach level 35 and Moscow once they reach level 70. The games revolves around doing job in order to earn cash, and eventually establishing and advancing one criminal's empires. Players creates mafia by recruiting players and using reward points to hire extra mafia members. Players can also improve their stats by visiting Godfather or making a micro payment.

Game play revolves around timers; players have limited energy (for doing job), health and stamina meters (for fighting other players), in a similar manner of an RPG game, which slowly recharges over time. By using extra mafia members whom that they have recruited, players can actually fight other mafia, which usually result in a theft of cash. The game operated on a level up basis. The players earn experience by completing jobs. Players who are able to complete special task, win achievement. As the level up, more jobs and features become available, such as robbing another mafia and visiting Cuba for expending the criminals empires.

Since september 2009, there is new city, Moscow being introduced in facebook and myspace. Once players reach level 70, they have access to Moscow. Two upcoming region are , Western United State and Asia. But their release dates have not been announce.
